Epergne W/Four Tussie Mussies This beautiful epergne measures 16" tall and includes one 7" tussie mussie at the center and three smaller 5" tussie mussies surrounding the center tussie mussie. The epergne is versitile and may be arranged in a variety of ways. The holder for the smaller tussie mussies can be positioned at approximately the same level as the center piece (as displayed in first photo) or it can be positioned at the bottom of the holder which adds more emphasis on the brides bouquet. The center tussie mussie can also be replaced with a candle! The epergne makes a beautiful center piece for the head table. The epergne is made of nickel. Tussie mussies are a wonderful Victorian tradition and a great way to carry your wedding bouquet. These tussie mussies have an incised rose and leaf pattern with cut outs designs. A black wash was rubbed in and wiped off so that petals and leaf veins are highlighted, giving the tussie mussie an antique look. There is also an oval engraving plate, on a delicate chain, which hangs from each tussie mussie. The chain is attached to a pin which slides through the tussie mussie to hold a bouquet in place.
