This beautiful cape is created with horizontal rows of white marabou
feathers. The cape is fully lined and closes with a small hook/eye
closure. The cape is light as a feather and a beautiful accent to a
wedding gown or for any formal event. The shawl falls almost to the
waistline in the back. The cape measures approximately 34" wide and
17 1/2" long. This is a new cape and currently we are able to stock

Full Length Marabou Feather
Coat
If you're looking for a full length coat that is light as a feather,
you might want to take a second look at this marabou feather coat!
The coat features vertical lengths of white marabou feathers. It has
a rounded neckline and a center front hook/eye closure (one hook and
one eye is missing and would need to be replaced). The coat is fully
lined (lining could use a bit of cleaning around the neckline - see
Detail/Lining Views). The coat is cut
in straight lines and has a vertical slit on each side. As you can
see from the photos, this coat really makes a statement and would be
the perfect addition to a winter wedding or social occasion. The
coat is a size Medium and is displayed on a dress form measuring:
bustline=36"; waistline=28" and hips=38". The coat measures
approximately 42" long from the shoulder to hemline. The coat is in
very good condition and very wearable. The coat does have a label
which reads, "Dry Clean Only."

Saks Fifth Avenue Marabou
Feather Coat
This beautiful floor length marabou feather coat is a bit out of the
ordinary. The rows of feathers are set in a diagonal pattern. The
diagonal pattern begins at the center front and center back and
continues to the side seams of the coat. The diagonal pattern also
continues through to the sleeves! The coat has a center front
hook/eye closure and is fully lined in white. The coat features side
pockets which are sewn into the side seams of the coat. The coat is
cut very straight and is a size small. It is displayed on a dress
from which measures approximately: bustline=34" and waistline=26".
The coat is approximately 56" long from the shoulder to hemline. The
interior neck label reads, "SFAntastic, Saks Fifth Avenue". Another
label reads "Dry Clean Only". The coat is in very good condition and
would be perfect for a winter wedding or any formal occasion.

Feather Capette
This white marabou feather capette is larger than the marabou
feather collar, yet it is not as large as a full sized cape. The
capette has a center front hook/eye closure and is fully lined. The
capette measures approximately 11" wide at the center back (widest
portion) and has five (5) rows of feathers. The capette measures
approximately 35" long. It is displayed on a dress form with a 14"
wide shoulder span.

Ivory Beaded
Jacket
This beautiful ivory beaded jacket is a wonderful accent piece to a simple sheath gown or dress slacks and top. The jacket has a center front opening with a scalloped edge. The scalloped edge continues around the hemline of the jacket. The jacket is done in an ivory net and is heavily beaded along the front opening, hemline and sleeve edges. The long sleeves come to a rounded point over the top of the hand. The beading consists of large faux pearls surrounded by tiny faux pearls, creating a floral motif. Scattered beaded designs decorate the remainder of the jacket. The beading is nicely done and creates an elegant fashion statement. The jacket measures approximately 34" long from center back to hemline. The jacket fits a size 10 through approximately a size 16. It is displayed on a dress form which measures: bustline=39"; waistline=32" and hips=42".

Embroidered Shawl
This lovely embroidered shawl is ivory in color. The shawl is cut in a square and folds nicely into a triangle. The scrolling chainstitched design creates a wide border around the outer edge of the shawl. Long, tied fringe edges the shawl - the fringe measures approximately 8" in length. Each grouping of fringe is encircled with a tiny beaded band. Small beads are also scattered through out the fringe which adds a nice touch. The shawl is a reproduction and would look lovely with a strapless or sleeveless gown. A romantic touch for a wedding gown! The shawl could also be used as a "piano shawl" and draped over a piano or table as a covering. Piano shawls were very popular during the early part of the 1900's. The shawl could be worn at your wedding and later used to cover a table holding your wedding photos! The shawl measures approximately 41" by 44" (not including fringe).

The heavily beaded ivory net shawl is yet another matching piece to

Jacket. The shawl is nicely sized, measuring approximately 20" wide
by 70" long. The beading consists of large faux pearls surrounded by
tiny faux pearls, creating a floral motif. The beading is heaviest
along each end comes to a point within the shawl. The shawl is
elegant and would enhance any formal attire. It looks lovely when
worn over VWC437, the ivory beaded tunic/dress. Add the shawl and
matching purse (VWC430) to any gown and create a timeless, elegant
fashion statement.

First, let me say that this shawl is so soft and feels so good when wrapped around your shoulders. The shawl is rectangular in shape and has a fringed edge on each end. The fringe is suspended from an open work cross-hatch design and each grouping of fringe is encircled with a beaded band. The shawl is make of Rayon and is not only soft, but also wrinkle resistant. An all over white-on-white floral design is so delicate and very lovely. The shawl measures approximately 16" wide and 72" long.
