This is a wonderful three (3) piece ensemble! The jacket is perfect for cool evenings or a bit more formal look. Let's begin with the sleeveless crochet shell. The shell is sleeveless with a rounded neckline. The crochet is open and airy over a lightweight white cotton lining. The bottom edge of the shell is accented with a wide horizontal crocheted floral band and scalloped hemline. Vertical slits at each side seam give a bit more room along the bottom portion of the shell. The matching skirt features a wide elastic waistband. It is also fully lined with a lightweight white cotton lining. The crochet portion of the skirt is longer than the lining crating an airy feeling. The hemline of the skirt is a modified hankerchief style and reaches ballerina to floor length, depending on height. The jacket is cut in a simple design. It has a center front opening with no closure. It has long sleeves and vertical slits in the side seams. The jacket is a lightweight rayon. The simplicity of the jacket is the perfect compliment to the crocheted shell and skirt. "Sense and Sensibility" Style Gown

This reproduction gown is reminiscent of the Regency era (early 1800's) and looks like it could have stepped out of Jane Austen's book, "Sense and Sensibility." The gown has a wide, square neckline with leg o'mutton sleeves. The top portion of the sleeves are very full and filled with net to help hold their shape. The fitted portion of the sleeves are done in a vertical striped material which looks like a combination of vertical ribbons alternated with vertical net strips. The sleeves end in a point over the back of the hand. The shoulders of the gown are beautifully decorated with flowers - they add a bit of color and so much romance! The gown is cut in a princess styling. The entire gown is lined with a very pale peach lining. The bodice is gathered and done in off white lace. A vertical striped material begins under the bust and continues toward the hemline; where the lower portion of the skirt (approximately knee length to the hemline) is done in two layers of cream colored lace. The skirt is very fitted with a center back slit. The dress has a center back zipper and label which reads, "Susan Lane's Country Elegance". It also has a Size 6 tag and measures approximately: bustline=35"; waistline=27"; hips=36" and length (shoulder to hemline)=57". I believe the gown is new and I could not find any problems.

This lovely 3-piece ensemble would be perfect for a beach wedding, garden wedding or an informal event. The ensemble consists of a white slip-over top decorated with cutwork throughout. The top is
sleeveless and has a rounded neckline. The matching jacket also has a rounded neckline and a center front opening. There are no buttons or other closures, the jacket is meant to be worn open. The jacket is also decorated with cutwork, especially around the neckline and along the center front opening. The skirt is not only lovely, but also very comfortable. It features a narrow elastic waistline with a drawstring. The skirt is cut fairly straight with some gathering around the waistline. The skirt is also decorated with cutwork and has a scalloped hemline. This outfit is new and still has the tags attached. The neck label reads, "Hibis Lace Works". This is a size Medium and is displayed on a dress form that measures: bustline=38" and waistline=30". The skirt measures 38" long.

This white cotton gown is so soft, you'll never want to take it off!
The gown would be perfect for a garden or beach wedding and would
work just as well for a more casual affair. The gown is simple in
design, yet the cut work and beading gives it an elegant flair. The
gown has a square neckline with narrow shoulder straps. The gown is
a shift style with the bodice being heavily decorated with cut-outs,
stitching and faux pearls (see Detail
Views. The decorative bodice design continues through the
waistline. A small material ties is attached to the side seams and
ties in the back. The skirt widens a bit and has decorative areas
scattered over the front. These areas are also a combination of cut-
outs, decorative stitching and faux pearls. Unfortunately, my photos
do not capture the gown's details. The gown is a size XL and is new. It's label
reads, "Hibis, Made in Indonesia By Papillon".

This dress and lace coat is the perfect ensemble for many occasions - a second wedding, mother-of-the-bride or any other formal or semi-formal occasion! The dress is done in a very light taupe color. The dress is sleeveless and has a rounded neckline with a "V" cut at the center front. The dress is cut in a straight, shift style and is fully lined. It has a center back zipper. The matching lace coat is very lightweight a comfortable to wear. The lace coat has a rounded neckline created with a round banding around the neckline. A wonderful, large rhinestone button is attached to this banding and is the only closure to the jacket. The remaining center front opening has a scalloped edge. Long, bell sleeves complete the coat. A scalloped edge also accents the sleeves. The dress does not have any size information, but measures approximately: bustline=38"; shoulder to shoulder width=15 1/2"; waistline=29"; hips=38" and length (shoulder to hemline)=39". The dress is in very good condition and very wearable.

This lovely cream dress reminds me of the 1930's. The dress comes with a matching full-length underslip. The dress features a "V" neckline and empire waistline. The dress has scattered beading of sequins and beads in iridescent, bronze and gold. A large beaded insert begins at the base of the front neckline and continues through the center of the bustline, giving the dress an added touch of elegance. The dress is semi-fitted through the bust/torso area, then widens as it approaches the hemline. The dress is approximately ankle length. The sleeves are 3/4 length and straight. The dress is soft and flowing. A hidden side zipper completes the dress. The dress is a reproduction and is new. The dress is one-size and is recommended for a size 12 through 16. Please look at measurements rather than size. The dress is displayed on a dress form which measures: bustline=39"; waistline=32" and hips=42".

This sweet Gunne Sax dress is perfect for an informal wedding. The
dress is done in white lace. It features a rounded neckline
encircled with a wide collar which is rounded in the front and
squared off in the back. The entire collar is edged with an eyelet
and lace trim. This trim also accents the bottom edge of the short
sleeves and the skirt hemline. The dress has padded shoulders and a
fitted bodice. The waistband falls below the natural waistline and
ends in a point at the center front. The skirt is gathered into the
waistband creating a fuller skirt. The dress is a newer vintage and
has never been worn. It is marked a size 9/10, but the measurements
are generous: bustline=38"; waistline=29" and length (shoulder to
hemline)=45".

Cream Cotton Gown

This simple cream colored gown is nicely accented with cream lace
and ribbon. The dress has a low, rounded neckline with a peter pan
style collar. The collar is edged with cream lace. The gown is
fully lined, except for the long sleeves. Lace and ribbon also run
vertically from the neckline to the high waistline. Five (5) faux
pearl buttons accent the vertical ribbon. The high waistline is also
decorated with lace trim and ribbon. A material belt is attached to
each side seam and ties in the back. The skirt is long and ends with
a deep ruffle and a horizontal row of lace. The gown is a size 9/10 and measures approximately:
bustline=34", shoulder to shoulder width=13; waistline=27" and length
(shoulder to hemline)=56". The gown is in very good condition and have never been worn. It is new/old stock and dates to the 1970's.
