This newer vintage Victorian style gown combines white and cream for
a wonderful old world look. The gown features a high lace neckline
and yoke. The lace is decorated with a cream colored trim and faux
pearls. The center front portion of the lace has three oval cutouts
which meet in the center with 2 faux pearls. A small amount of
restitching is needed in the center as the stitching on one side of
each of the pearls has pulled away - very minor repair. The yoke is
edged with a lace ruffle and the sleeves are also done in lace. The
gown is cut in a princess style with a high waistline. The skirt is
shown over a crinoline (not included) and has a wide ruffle at the
hemline. The gown has a long train and portrays a very romantic
look. The gown has a center back zipper and no label or size
information. Measurements: bustline=33"; waistline=29"; length
(shoulder to hemline)=55". The gown is in very good condition, but
does need cleaning.

Swedish Wedding
Gown/Gloves
This white wedding gown is slightly unusual in cut and style. This
gown was made in West Germany and worn only for a fashion show. The
gown has a sheer net upper bodice which meets a shirred cross over
bodice section, giving the gown a sweetheart neckline look. The
material of the gown is white but it has an almost iridescent sheen
to it (which made it difficult for me to photograph). The bodice has
a lace and beaded applique which is attached to one side of the upper
bodice and runs diagonally following the cross over the bustline.
The bodice has a front seam off to one side. All the bodice material
gathers to this seam. This goes nicely with the asymetric waistline,
which begins at this seam and drops to the opposite hip. The
waistline is accented with a material bow. The sleeves are short and
full. They have a net lining to give them body and an embroidered
floral design which begins at the top of the outer sleeve and
continues to the bottom. The embroidery is accented with faux pears -
round and oval. The skirt is gathered into the waistline and has a
nice width, but is not a full skirt. The gown has an underlining and
the back has a center zipper which begins below the net. The back of
the netting closes with three covered buttons. There is no size
label, but the gown measures: bustline=36"; waistline=29"-30";
hips=36"; length (shoulder seam to hemline)=58". The gown is in very
good condition. A pair of matching 3/4 length gloves are included
with the gown.

Wedding Gown
This gown is lovely! The detailing is so sweet! The gown is white
with a rounded neckline. The neckline is edged with a ruched style
ruffle. Tiny bows accent the trim. The gown has short sleeves which
are also edged with the ruffle and bows. The front of the bodice is
decorated with lace appliques. Tiny faux pearls accent the
appliques. Trim runs vertically over the bustline. The waistline
dips to a view in the front. The skirt is sheer and beautifully
decorated with an embroidered floral design. The bottom portion of
the skirt is heavily decorated and the hemline is scalloped. The
gown has a center back zipper and a "V" back neckline. The gown is
in very good condition but does need cleaning a the trim needs
restitching in a few places. There are no labels or size
information, but the gown measures: bustline=37"; waistline=32"-33";
bodice length (shoulder to waistline)=14"; length (shoulders to
hemline)=53". The gown may be worn floor length or tea length.
