This sweet white cotton lawn dress features a rounded neckline adorned with three small rows of lace. Several vertical pin tucks begin at the neckline and continue to just above the bustline. The sleeves are 3/4 length and edged with lace. The dress has a center back button closure. Notice that the dress has a fitted waistline with an inset waistband, but it is higher than the natural waistline. This would work well for a shorter-waisted figure. The skirt is gathered into the waistband. Two additional panels are also attached to the waistband and fall over the skirt - one on each side. The skirt has a deep hem. The dress is in good condition, but it does have a few small pin holes and a small stain in the back of the bodice. See Detail Views. The dress is sturdy enough to wear and would be perfect for an informal garden wedding. The cotton lawn is semi-transparent and the dress would need to be worn with a slip. The dress measures approximately: bustline=38"; shoulder to shoulder width=17"; waistline=27"; skirt length (waistline to hemline)=29" and total length (shoulder to hemline)=43".

Gown
This gown is very sweet and demure! This heavier weight white cotton
gown features a small stand-up collar with a heavily decorated front
bodice. The gown is decorated with white-on-white embroidery and
openwork - done in a floral pattern. The bodice is fairly full in
front.
Vertical pleats begin at the shoulder and extend through to the
waistline.
These pleats allow fullness to bustline while tapering into the
waistband. The pleats continue through the back of the bodice with a
back button
closure at the center. The button closure placket has been
reinforced. The gown
has longer length sleeves with some fullness, but gathered into a
decorated cuff at the wrist. The waistband is slightly raised and
the skirt is
cut in an a-line. The center front portion of the skirt is also
decorated
with embroidery and openwork. The gown is in very good condition and a
larger size. Approximate measurements are: bustline=38"; shoulder
to shoulder width=13"; waistline=29"; back center neckline to
waistline length=15"; skirt length (waistline to hemline)=38 1/2" and
total length=52".
