This dark gray colored gown has a wonderful iridescence to the
fabric. The gown is a two-piece bodice and skirt. The bodice is
done in a corset styling. It has a center back zipper and is very
fitted. The bodice is strapless and ends just below the natural
waistline in a "V" - both front and back. The matching skirt is a
front wrap around with a front side opening. The skirt closes with a
two large metal hook/eye and snaps. Both the bodice and the skirt
are fully lined. This gown was purchased from a bridal shop that
went out of business. It is new and there is a tag, which reads, "As
Seen in Modern Bride." The gowns label reads, "After Six" and the
gown was Made in USA. The size tag reads, Size 10 and the gown
measures: bustline=38"; waistline=29" and skirt length=44 1/2".
This gown would look wonderful with a choker style necklace. A great
newer vintage gown to bring in the New Year!

Black Gown - Skirt & Bodice
Size 10
This beautiful two-piece gown is actual a true black; however I have
lighted my photos to show the details of the gown. The bodice has a
center back zipper and is fairly fitted. Two thin shoulder straps
hold the bodice in place. The front bodice material drapes toward
the side, where a material bow sits at the waistline, giving the
bodice added definition. The skirt is done in a very flattering a-
line styling and has a center back zipper. The ties of the bodice
bow fall to below knee level, adding vertical lines to the skirt.
Both the bodice and skirt are fully lined. The gown is 100%
Polyester; however it has the look and feel of a lightweight crepe.
The gown is made by, "Vivian Dessy Diamond for Dessy Creations, New
York." The gown is Dry Clean Only and is Made in USA. The gown is a
size 10 and measures approximately: bustline=38"; waistline=30" and
skirt length=42 1/2". The gown was purchased from a bridal shop that
went out of business and is of newer vintage.

Purple "Sparkling" Bodice
Size 10
This wonderful Mori Lee two piece gown consists of a bodice and
skirt. The bodice has great lines and is very figure flattering!
The bodice has a crossover front, which ties to the side. There is
an additional inside tie to help hold the bodice in place. As you
can see from the photo, the front neckline is very low. Thin
shoulder straps and boning hold the bodice in place. The bodice is
done in a purple iridescent material that compliments the solid
purple "satin" skirt. The skirt falls to the floor in a figure
flattering a-line styling. The gown is fully lined and the skirt has
a center back zipper. An inverted pleat on each side of the zipper
helps to conceal it. The gown's label reads, "Mori Lee". The gown
is a Size 10 and measures approximately: bustline=36"; waistline=28"
and skirt length=46 1/2". The gown is in very good condition;
however it was purchased from a bridal store that went out of
business and may need cleaning. The gown is of newer vintage.

Purple Polka Dot "Bustle"

Unfortunately, my photos do not capture tiny purple dotted
pattern of this gown, but they are a nice contrast to white
background. This gown can also be worn bustled in back - two
looks for price of one! gown has a high material neckline
with a front patterned lace yoke. Both yoke and collar are
trimmed with ribbon. Six (6) buttons also decorate center front
of yoke. A wide rounded ruffle is attached to yoke. This
ruffle continues over shoulders and through back. bodice
is fitted and has a wide waistband. A narrow ribbon encircles
waistline and ties in back. sleeves are long and sheer.
They end with a small lace ruffle at wrist. gown's skirt is
nicely gathered into waistband and ends with a wide ruffle at
hemline. gown is fully lined and outer "dotted" layer is
sheer. back of skirt has a hook/eye which when attached,
creates a bustled effect. lining beneath bustle is also
patterned with same purple dots, creating a layered look.
gown is "Dry Clean Only". VWC322 (Size 13/14) has a bit of staining
under arms on lining only. It is not noticeable when worn,
but I believe it would come out with cleaning. gowns measure as
follows: VWC322 (Size 13/14: bustline=40"; shoulder to
shoulder=16"; waistline=29"-30"; length (shoulder to hemline)=58".
VWC323 (Size 11/12): bustline=36"; shoulder to shoulder=14";

Blue Dotted Swiss Gown

This gown is so sweet! It is done in a blue and white dotted swiss.
gown features a high neckline and deep "V" sheer yoke in both
front and back. yoke is rimmed with a white ribbon, lace trim
and double ruffle. Lots of lace and detail here! A small lace trim
also edges collar. gown is sleeveless; however ruffles
cover shoulders and just cap upper arm. bodice is fitted
and waistline ends with a small "V" at center front.
back of waistline has a sheer material tie belt which attaches to
side seams. skirt gathers slightly into waistline and
ends with a wide ruffle at hemline. gown is fully lined and
skirt has an extra layer - a net crinoline. crinoline give
skirt added body. gown is 100% Polyester and is marked a
size 11/12. gown measures approximately: bustline=36";
waistline=27" and length (shoulder to hemline)=58". gown is
new/old stock and has never been worn.

Gunne Sax Pink
Gown
This romantic Gunne Sax gown is a very pale pink. It has a square
front neckline and deep "V" back neckline. A large ruffle encircles
the bodice and continues over the shoulders through the "V" back.
The gown is sleeveless, however the elastic shoulders allow it to be
worn "off the shoulder." The bodice is fitted and drops to a "V" at
the center front waistline. A huge bow begins at the back waistline
and continues approximately half way down the skirt. This bow is
wide and makes a lovely backdrop for the gown. The skirt is slightly
gathered into the waistline creating an a-line skirt. The material
is a color on color print. The gown has an attached crinoline and
side zipper. The gown is in good condition, but does need some seam
reinforcement and there is a small spot on the collar. It measures
approximately: bustline=34"; waistline=27" and length (shoulder to
hemline)=54".

GUNNE SAX Blue/White

Light blue cotton lawn and white lace trim keep you looking "cool as a cucumber!". This sundress would be perfect for a garden wedding (see our white wide brim floppy hats and veils or any other summer occassion. The sundress is simple in design, yet sooo flattering. The bodice of the dress is very fitted with a low neckline and small shoulder straps. The center front portion of the bodice is covered with a white lace overlay with lacing up the center front. The waistline drops to a "V" at the center front and is edged with narrow white satin ribbon. A material tie belt is attached to the side seams and ties in the back. The skirt has a bit a fullness and features a large ruffle, with a white lace accent, which falls to the hemline. The sundress has a center back zipper and is fully lined. The gown is new/old stock and still has the original Gunne Sax tag. This gown is available in Size 5 and Size 7. This gown is also availabe in pale pink, see Item VWC025. Young Edwardian Embroidered
Gown

What a great summer treat! This white cotton gown is sweet to look
at and so easy to wear! The gown has a rounded neckline with an
encased elastic edge. The elastic allows the neckline to be worn off
the shoulders. A large shawl collar encircles the bodice and is
beautifully decorated with an embroidered floral design on the front.
Vertical cutout strips and light blue ribbon accent the collar and
the entire collar is edged in white eyelet trim. The floral designs
are all done in goldtones, except for VWC057 and VWC061. VWC057 is
decorated with a red/pink rose design and VWC061 is done in a blue
floral design. The gown is sleeveless and has an empire waistline.
A drawstring is used to adjust the under the bust waistline. The
skirt is made from three horizontal panels, giving the skirt a tiered
look. Blue and pink ribbon accents complete the skirt. The sizes
are not true on these gowns. Please use the following measurements
as a more precise guide. The gowns will actually fit a much larger
size than marked. Following are approximate measurements: VWC057
