This lovely ivory colored gown looks like it stepped out of a 1930's movie. The gown has a "V" neckline and is held in place with narrow straps. Typical of the 1930's, the bodice is done in a cross-over design. It gates to one side and is accented with eight (8) material buttons. The skirt portion of the gown overlaps with a side slit. The gown has a small train which adds an extra air of elegance. The gown is lined and closes with an invisible side zipper. A matching shawl is included with the gown and measures approximately 13" X 70". The gown is a Size 3X and is measures approximately: bustline=44"; waistline=40"; and length=62".

Peach Tunic, Pants, Wrap

This three (3) piece set is perfect for any occasion AND very figure flattering! The tunic is held in place with thin straps and the neckline is cut straight across. The front of the tunic is heavily beaded and is cut on the diagonal - one side ends at the hipline; whereas the opposite side almost touches the floor. The longer side does have a slit up the side for ease in walking. The tunic is created in two (2) layers, creating a very flowing appearance. The tunic has an invisible side zipper. The matching pants have an elastic waistline and center back zipper. They are wide legged and flowing. Each leg has a long slit up the outer side of the leg. The third piece to this outfit is the wrap which lends to the formal look of this gown! The gown is a Size XL and measures approximately: bustline=41"; waistline=31"; hips=41" and pant length=43".

Peach Edwardian Style Gown

This peach colored gown has an Edwardian flair to it! The color of the gown is actually called mauve; however, as you can see, it definately looks peach rather than mauve! Unfortunately, my photos do not do the gown justice. The gown has an underdress that is sleeveless with a rounded neckline. The underdress reaches almost to the floor and is gradually lengthens as it rounds the sides and back. The center front of the underdress has a small slit decorated with embroidery. The sheer overdress has a "V" neckline and 3/4 length sleeves. The overdress is decorated with ribbon and embroidered designs. The bottom portion is done in two tiers - each are short in the front and gradually lengthen as they approach the side and back. The gown is a size Medium. It is displayed on a dress form measuring approximately: bustline=36"; waistline=29"; hips=38"; front length (shoulder to hemline)=48 1/2" and back length (shoulder to hemline)=49 1/2". Dusty Rose Titanic Look
Gown - With Sleeves!

This wonderful gown has been very popular in the ivory color - however, this gown is a pale dusty rose color. The gown reminds me of the early 1900's - it's romantic and flows beautifully. The gown is sheer and is worn over an underslip (included). The gown has sheer bell sleeves and features a wide, rounded neckline. The bodice of the gown is semi-fitted and is adjusted with the corset style lacing in the back. Open work bands further accent the bodice, sides and skirt - nice detailing. A large material flower accents the front of the gown, just above the waistline. Another layer of sheer material begins at the center front flower and gradually receeds towards the sides as it lengthens. This layer ends below the knees and the underlayer continues to approximately ankle or floor length (looks wonderful at either length). This gown would be perfect for a garden wedding and would could later be used to dance the night away! The gown is a size Large. It is displayed on a dress form measuring approximately: bustline=38"; waistline=32"; hips=43" and front length (shoulder to hemline)=50". 1920's Style Gunne Sax White

This cute white Gunne Sax dress is so sweet! It reminds me of
the 1920's with the dropped waistline, sailor collar and lace trim.
The dress has a deep "V" neckline with a small "V" yoke insert, The
collar and the insert are both edged with white lace. The insert has
a pink embroidered design - just a touch of color (see Detail View). The dress has a center front
button closure (one button is broken, but it could be replaced by
button holding insert). Vertical lace and pleats add to the vintage
look of this dress. The sleeves are short with a "puff" at the top,
then tapering to a lace edge. The skirt is gathered into the dropped
waistline creating a comfortable dress which can be dressed up for a
garden party or worn with sandles for a walk on the beach. The dress
has a label which reads, "Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock". It is a
size Medium and measures approximately: bustline=34"; waistline=26";
and length (shoulder to hemline)=45".

Pink Southern Belle Style

If feeling like a Southern belle is your goal, take a look at this lovely Gunne Sax gown. The gown done in a pink pattern on pattern design. It features a low, rounded neckline which may be worn off the shoulders (one of the elastic straps needs tightening). Two layers of white lace encircle the neckline of the gown almost covering the short, capped sleeves. A material tie is attached to the top of each shoulder. These ties may be tied in a bow adding another element of detailing. The bodice is fitted and ends at the natural waistline, with a "V" at the center front. A wide material tie belt attaches to the side seams and ties at the center back. The skirt portion of the gown is done in a double layer. The top layer is edged in white lace and has two (2) vertical gathers in the front - one on each side. This pulls the lace a bit higher, revealing the underskirt which in this case is the same material. The gown is lined with an attached crinoline and center back zipper. The length of the gown is approximately 48" (shoulder to hemline) which brings it to approximately mid-calf length. The gown has a label which reads, "Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock". It is a size 9 and measures approximately: bustline=34" and waistline=27". The gown is in very good condition and all I see that it needs it the adjustment of the elastic in the shoulder. An added crinoline would give the skirt added fullness, if desired.

1960's Mint Green
Dress/Jacket
If you're looking for the perfect 1960's dress/coat combination,
look closely at this set. The mint green dress is simple in design
with a small stand-up collar. The collar is nicely decorated with
white beads, sequins and trim. The dress is sleeveless and is fitted
through the bodice. The skirt is straight and the dress is fully
lined. Two side pockets and a material belt complete the dress. The
matching jacket has a rounded neckline and is heavily beaded around
the neckline and in a "V" shape down the front. The jacket features
long sleeves and is cut in a shorter style. The dress/jacket
ensemble is typical of the 1960's. Add a pair of gloves and a small
pillbox hat and you're ready to go. Both pieces are in very good
condition and very well made. The label reads, "David's, Fort
Lauderdale, FLA" The dress measures: bustline=33"; waistline=24";
neck to waistline length=15 1/2"; waistline to hemline length=21".
The jacket measures approximately 13 1/2" shoulder to shoulder width
and 17 inches in length.

1960's Vintage Dress
W/Beading

The detailing on this dress is lovely! The dress is yellow - not quite as bright as my photos portray, but closer to the Detail Views. The neckline is a bit unusual - it begins as somewhat of a boat style neckline; however, the front portion of the neckline is raised - immediately calling attention to the beautiful beading! The raised portion of the neckline begins a vertical "panel" which runs through the center front of the dress. White and goldtone beading encircles the neckline to the shoulder seams. This beading then continues vertically along one side of the panel to the hemline. A large goldtone beaded starburst begins in the upper corner of the panel and streams across the bustline. Be sure to view the Detail Views of the beading. The sleeves are long and straight. The dress has a center back zipper, is fully lined and has a fitted look to it. The material looks like raw silk or linen. There are not labels or size information, but the dress is a generous size. It measures approximately: bustline=42"; shoulder to shoulder width=15 1/2"; waistline=34"; hips=44" and length=38". The dress is in very good condition and very wearable - great for the mother-of-the-bride or a guest at a vintage wedding!
